Idea Description

In this poster, I used abstract style to create the shape of the face with the color pallet filled with nudes, but at different shades, some of them are dark, and some of the light but all of them are from the pallet that I chose in the first place. Moreover, I added geometrical shapes for the background because through my research. I saw that it's a trend in 2021 and gave the poster a simple and elegant look. In the beginning, it was hard to discover what's the best way to represent this poster, but through the feedback from the teacher, I managed to reach this level. Also, the font used is Baskerville Old Face, and it's a serif font which is a trend. In addition, in my poster, there is a contrast between the background and the text.

My Reflection

My way of presenting my poster mainly focuses on reaching out to all the females that are under the spell of unrealistic beauty standards and the urge to become a person they won't be able to recognize after a while from all the tries to please people and their disgusting looks towards natural beauty and difference between every girl. First of all, the best way to convince someone is to directly state the problem and let them open their eyes to the ugly reality we are living in, which is the slogan we chose that talks about the main issue which is unrealistic beauty standards and that you either have to be this way, or you're ugly. The fonts used are in the poster are Newyork and Ventura, and it's from the serif typeface, which is trendy these days, and the color pallet was some nudes that fit perfectly with the topic and poster.
