Idea Description
My idea for the poster that I want to share with women around the world that how influential they are, and they need to believe in natural beauty because believing is an essential step in their lives. I will be using the trends to create the poster, like colors, style, typography, and more. I will use our slogan to get the audience's attention and share it on different social media platforms.
For my design, I used the most trendy styles in 2021, like line art and collage. But for my last poster, I selected the line art poster because it's the best way to describe the woman because it's soft and sample. At the same time, it makes the poster solid and rich.
For the typography, I used two types of serif fonts. One is New York font. The second one is Vogue font. I used the serif fonts because it's part of the 2021 trends style. Also, I like to use serif fonts because the font's curves give the text look good and have its own style. In my final poster, I selected the New York font because I like how it fits in my poster, and also I see it a lot nowadays posters.
I used warm comforting for the color because it is part of the 2021 trend and the shades of the human colors. And in my opinion, it gives my poster a warm feeling, making it robust and rich.

My Reflection
My group was of 4 students, two students from the Sharjah campus and two from the Dubai campus. We called our group the women power group because we think that we are young power youth, and we want to share a message to the world from our topic. So we selected our topic according to the group name. Our topic is about unrealistic beauty standards.
In the group, we decided to create a one-drive folder from the First day. So we can share our work and see each other's work. That helps us improve our poster and organize the work. Each of us did something. For example, I did the website (blog), Maryam did the Powerpoint, Alya did the research, and Mariam did the Survey. But we helped each other. for example, each of us wrote a research paper for the main research, and Alya Combined it and added more. that way goes for all the work.
In my final poster, I used line art to follow the trend and the line art is the most art that fits our idea and my style. For the colors, I used warm colors because it fits the topic and is the nearest color to the human tones. for the typography, I used the New York font because it is trendy nowadays because it serif font and fits my poster perfectly.
The most successful thing that happened in this project was that we did the one drive folder that helped us a lot, and we have a great team member. We didn't face any problems because we tried to help each other and if some of the members didn't get the teacher's information we tried to explain to her.
I learned a lot of things in this project. First that I need to believe in my beauty. Second, Organising what time and where. Third, I learned more about the trend, and the trend can change faster. For example, this week we will have a new trend, next week it will be old. Forth, I learned how to mix and match the colors to fit in the trend. And lastly, I learned how I could create my line art by the illustrator.
